What is Meditation?

There are many forms of meditation practice stemming from numerous cultural/religious traditions. Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses a technique such as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought or activity. Meditation helps to train your attention and awareness, achieving a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.

There are many ways to practice meditation but as everyone is different and has different needs and approaches to life, a meditation coach can help you to explore, develop, and/or sustain a meditation practice. It can help find works best for you, explore different techniques and practices, so you can get the best results applying meditative practices to your everyday life.

Meditation Coach

My journey into becoming a Meditation Coach started in my early teens after being made homeless and struggling with mental health. During this time I discovered and learnt about Buddhism and it's teachings. I studied and practiced meditation regularly, which really helped me get through the hard times I was going through. Later on in life I decided I wanted to help others learn what I have learnt and then studied mindfulness and meditation, completing several diploma courses.
I am passionate about studying and practising mindfulness and meditation a
nd have successfully taught face to face classes in my local area. I have also studied Life Coaching and am now combining what I have learnt to create a method of coaching mindfulness and meditation, so that anyone can learn and gain the benefits mindfulness and meditation practices has to offer.
